These materials include charts, time lines and nomenclature materials. They are necessary for the proper functioning of a Montessori elementary class.

“By supporting the development of the whole child and engaging in a meaningful and thoughtful way, the Montessori trained adult is able to model clear and respectful communication, include the child in decisions and assessments regarding his learning and social development and facilitate conflict resolution.  By actively implementing AMI Montessori training in the classroom, the Montessori teacher is able to help the child to experience the benefits of being mindful in a natural, supportive, and genuine way, resulting in the child having an independent sense of self. Because our learning environments are designed to mirror the way society functions, the Montessori child is also more able to translate these benefits into daily life outside of the classroom.”
